What is the easiest way to access downtown LA by public transportation?

The FlyAway nonstop bus service provides transportation between LAX and Union Station and Van Nuys. FlyAway buses drop off passengers on the Upper/Departures Level of each terminal. At LAX, passengers board these buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal at the blue FlyAway sign. Each bus is marked with its service location. One-way fares are $9.75 each. Where is the ride app service pickup location?

Lyft, Opoli, and Uber are the authorized providers for ride app services at LAX. When leaving LAX, ride apps and taxis can be picked-up at the LAX-it lot next to Terminal 1. Guests can walk or take the free LAX-it shuttles to get to LAX-it. If taking a ride app to LAX you can be dropped off directly at your terminal on the upper/departures level. Is there free internet access?

Yes, LAX has free unlimited Wi-Fi available in public areas of ALL terminals. Passengers can access unlimited sessions of 45 minutes of free Wi-Fi access. It should be noted that an ad or a short video (15 to 30 seconds) will be presented before unlimited Wi-Fi access begins.

How to transfer between the terminals?

A free service is provided by the LAX Shuttle bus and connects passengers to all terminals, the transportation services and the park-and-ride lots. LEARN MORE

What to do in case of a long layover?

There are many duty free shops and dining options. LAX Airport also offers a number of other amenities including nursing rooms in all terminals, medical and first aid, Pet Relief stations, device charging stations, free wi-fi, U.S. Postal Service, banking services. In turn, there are several VIP lounges with drinks, food, work spaces, etc. In case you need to sleep a few hours, there are several hotel with shuttle service in the surroundings.

What to do in case of loss of valuables or luggage?

The Lost and Found section of LAX is managed by the Airport Police Division. The articles found are published on the airport's official website within an estimated period of 2 to 5 business days. Incoming items can be found both at boarding gates, restrooms, check-in counters, etc., as well as on the curbside.

LAX no longer has electronic lockers or oversize item storage service. However, a private service called LAX Luggage Storage offers storage and pick-up and drop-off service. Carry-On Size Item $12 per day/ per piece - Average Check-In Size Item $15 per day/ per piece - Special Size Item $18 per day/ per piece. Is there any free parking area?

Yes. 15 minutes free parking is available in all lots of the Central Terminal Area Parking. Besides, the LAX Cell Phone Waiting Lot, open 24 hours a day, is a zone where you can wait free of charge until passengers call to say they are ready to be picked up. It is located a quarter mile west of the 96th Street bridge entrance to the LAX passenger terminal area. More information about PARKING 

Is possible to get a SIM card?

All ICE Currency Exchange booths sell international and domestic Sim cards. In addition, some convenience stores and newsstands offer SIM cards ideal for travelers visiting the United States. You can get a SIM card at Hudson, Los Angeles Magazine News, Markte 8600, Sunset News, CNN Newsstand.

Where can I get travel assistance while I am at the airport?

Volunteers (easily found in their bright red jackets) are located in information booths in each terminal on the Lower/Arrivals areas from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. Volunteers assist passengers with directions to various airport and community facilities; transportation and accommodations; and other airport related information.
